NOW CHEWING 06: Fruit ++ Plate @ Ka Lui Restaurant, PPR

Standard

Ka Lui, Puerto Princesa, Palawan

Where: Ka Lui Restaurant(MUST VISIT)

369 Rizal Avenue Puerto Princesa City Palawan

When:   25 June 2011

A first time trip at PPR and this is definitely one of the places to visit.

But i’m very sorry because i forgot the name of this plate so i just created a new name for it. Hehe.

It’s a fruit plus plus plate (starters) because, mainly it has fruits – ripe mangoes, avocado, pomelo, papaya, calamnsi; plus plus because of the VERY YUMMY and CHEWY seeweeds, the fresh raw fish in thin slices (yep, believe it or not, there’s fish in there), and cashew nuts for toppings.  Surprisingly, my taste buds did not complain and everything just blended perfectly well in my mouth (minus the fish part). 🙂 The calamansi added the zing to the salad, and the “neutral taste” of the seaweeds complemented the other fruits. 🙂

The place was really nice and i will try to blog about the experience in Ka Lui in the near future. 🙂

For those who would wish to try Ka Lui, it’s not just any resto in PPR because you have to make reservations first due to the number of people going there.
