Summer Fun @ Club Manila East

Standard

I’ve been spending most of my summer weekends under the heat of the sun.  Even  though I hate how much the sun burns my skin, I could say that this summer has been very fun and productive. 🙂

So where am I when the week strikes Saturday?

I spent (and still spending) my summer at Club Manila East Taytay.

Club Manila East (CME), the premiere getaway destination in the heart of the progressive municipality of Taytay, made summer even more exciting because it has made it guests experience summer in high gear!

CME gives access to the country’s most thrilling summer activities.  Resort goers braved the waves in the biggest wave pool in the country, the OceanWaves – the only surfing pool in the Philippines with the most powerful waves of up to 1.5 meters high and a pool area of more than 10 basketball courts combined.

They also took a plunge from atop the 15-feet high diving platform into the CME Waterfalls.  This 14-feet deep pool got them free-falling into the most exciting dive of their lives.

And, if the adrenaline high is still not enough, they can try the newest high-flying and breath-taking attraction in the resort, the CME FLY.  This 320-meter long and 6-storey high zipline takes guests across the whole resort in about a minute is the longest zipline in the region.  This zipline was a sure hit for all thrill-seekers who visited the resort.

With these major attractions, CME expects even more adventure-seeking guests to flock to the resort.  Just a 25-minute drive from Ortigas Center, CME is the best summer destination for families, couples, companies, businessmen, balikbayans, barkadas, and any individual seeking a unique summer experience.

Also, CME had events courtesy of their friends from RJ Planet and Wave 891.

RJ100, for the third time, had their Big Summer Show at the resort.  Together with their sponsors – Coppertone, CloseUp, Emperador Brandy Light and Yoshinoya, there were games and the guests were able to take home some good freebies! To heighten the excitement, there were firedancers who did their exhibitions and The Bloomfields super high energy performance! Everyone had a blast!

Twist and shout!

While Wave 891, together with Mossimo and PLDT myDSL, made summer even hotter because of the models for Mr. and Ms. EcoTourism  Mossimo Bikini Summit 2011. What’s good about this contest is that it became advocacy driven.  🙂 It was an afternoon of games, curves and abs, and party as Urbanation performed songs of BEP.

CME was also the venue of many tv shoots this summer.

The fun doesn’t stop there. Thanks to the generous sponsors of CME – Jollibee for the burgers, Shakeys for the pizza, Chowking for the halo-halo, Ginebra San Miguel for the booze – we (and our tummies) were always (and forever!) happy! 🙂

Weeeell. The summer fun isn’t over yet. 🙂
