Lucky 13: A Valentine Post :)

Standard

LUCKY.

The perfect word to describe Camille and Reggie’s celebration.

How are we celebrating Valentine’s?

I know it’s mushy. But i just realized that admittedly, this time, i really looked forward to celebrating it. So i asked him that question. Then he answered, “Oo nga noh.  Kasi parang palaging Valentines naman pag weekend.”

*For those of you who are not informed, he is working in Laguna and I, in Pampanga. So we only get to see each other on weekends. Weekends are like the best days of our week because we are free from work and we have all the time to eat, watch a movie, date, play bowling, ‘cook’, eat again, and do silly stuff .  And we really make the most out of it. 🙂

Weeks before, we already finalized our plans on seeing the Hot Air Balloon Night Glow of the 16th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta on February 12 (Saturday). This will be our simple celebration of the v-day since 14 is a Monday and we won’t be able to see each other.

Buuut. Due to our very busy weekend schedule, i already brushed off the idea of still being able to see the show. Then, he told me that there was a Sunday night show of the Night glow and he asked me if i still wanted to see it. Of course very super duper much yes!!

So off we went to Clark. While we were approaching Clark, i already saw one of the balloons being lighted up and i couldn’t help but scream with excitement. LITERALLY SCREAM LIKE A CHILD!

We didn’t get our tickets in advance  because we knew there were tickets sold at the entrance. It took us a few minutes to find a space to park. Vehicles were already forming a long line when we came. But thank God, our first lucky moment : it didn’t take us a long time to find a parking space. Yeeey!

There were a LOT of people swarming in and out of the venue. So when we reached the entrance, we asked where we can buy tickets. The security guards told us that all tickets are sold out. WAAH. 😦

But there was this guy who offered his other ticket. Then i asked how much did the ticket cost. He said it’s already free. Second lucky moment! So yeeeey! We just needed to find one more ticket. To that person who gave us his ticket, thank yooou!

Then the guards asked us how many are we, then we said just the two of us. Lucky moment no. 3:  they took our single ticket then allowed us to enter. Can you believe that?! Haha! We finally made it inside the venue!!!! I’m about to see the Night Gloooow!

So here’s a photo during the short event. 🙂

We were just in the nick of time when the show started. When we were able to find a good spot to see the hot air balloons, the fireworks display started. 🙂

All in all, it was a unique and simple celebration of the v-day. We were able to see the event, thanks to sheer luck and kindness. 🙂 After the event, we went to a small frozen yogurt shop along the way and had froyo and tea. It was a happy day, really.

SUPER HAPPY. SUPER LUCKY. Thanks love. 🙂 ♥
